F!

Do you know this F? I’m curious. Another pic and explanation of context, after the cut.
The mark looks like the letter “F” to me, but who knows… is it even right-side-up? I found it in a McMaster parking lot (North of Togo Salmon). It could be a letter, or perhaps it’s a placemarker, a distance indicator, etc. Or, maybe just overspray from something else… It’s interesting to me, anyway. The form is nice and stylized. I had fun taking its picture. Below is the symbol again (same size, apparently same shape) in a different orientation, several meters away from the first instance, in the same parking lot.
